Education is a basic human right.

Yet those who need education the most – children living in poverty – are the least likely to attend and complete school.

Haiti Trek with in a Perfect World

In 2016 I tagged along a 5-day trek with the In a Perfect World team to break ground on construction of a new school in a rural village over 300km outside of Port-au-prince. My job was to not only participate in construction and assist the team but to document the trip as well. With a single Canon 5D Mark III we created a stunning content library of photos & video used for social media and fundraising.

NEPAL TREK WITH BUILDON

In November of 2016 I participated in a 14-day trek in Far West Nepal. We spent two weeks living with host families in a rural village with no running water.

I was tasked with documenting a team of 12 high-school students and their mission to break ground on a new school for the village.

Malawi Trek with In a Perfect World

I joined to IAPW team again to work on a new school and dedicate a recently built school in on of the artist Prince.

We created this highlights video to present and the IAPW end of the year Gala in 2016.

In A Perfect World encourages others to #give100, too. What does that mean? It means to give it your all – each day, each moment, whatever “it” means to you.
